Getting a key and setting up a subscription through the Happ bot

Why the Happ bot is needed and what it can do

The Happ bot in Telegram acts as a personal dashboard: it issues a subscription link (subscription URL), shows the key's expiration date, accepts payment and lets you renew access without installing anything extra. The Happ client, built on the Xray core, can import such a link and automatically pull the current list of servers, so the pairing of "bot + app" closes the whole cycle: got the key, pasted it, up and running.

It's important to understand the separation of roles. The Happ app is a client that connects to servers and manages proxy mode, split tunneling and utility functions. The app itself does not sell access (the key and subscription) — those are issued by the service's bot. Only a key obtained officially, through a paid or trial route via this bot, is considered legitimate; there is no need to use someone else's or "leaked" configs.

All actions in the bot are reversible and clear: the subscription period is visible at any moment, the plan can be changed, and when switching devices it's enough to paste the same subscription link into a new instance of Happ — reissuing the key is usually not required.

How to get a key and set up a subscription

Open the bot via the service link and press "Start" (/start). On first entry the bot will show a short menu with a choice: trial access or a paid plan. A trial key is handy for checking speed and stability on your own sites and apps in advance, before paying.

Choose the subscription period and payment method. After a successful payment (or activation of the trial period) the bot will send two things: a subscription link of the form https://…/sub/… and a brief instruction. Do not publish this link or forward it to anyone — it is equivalent to your access key.

If the message with the subscription got lost in the chat, request it again through the bot menu — usually this is the "My subscription" item or a command to show the current key. The bot always returns the current link tied to your Telegram account, so recovery takes a few seconds.

Activating the subscription in the Happ client

Copy the subscription link from the bot (long-press the text in Telegram — "Copy"). Then open the Happ app and add a new profile from the subscription: in the mobile versions this is the add-configuration section, where you need to choose import by link and paste the copied URL. Happ will load the list of servers tied to your key by itself.

After importing, tap subscription update so the client pulls fresh Servers and parameters. One or several nodes will appear in the list — choose the nearest or least loaded one and connect. If the connection is established, the active profile icon will light up and traffic will go through the selected server.

For devices signed into one account the step is the same: the same subscription link is pasted into Happ on the phone, tablet or in the desktop version. There is no need to change anything in the bot for this — the subscription is shared, and the device-count limits depend on your plan.

Renewal and subscription management

The expiration date is convenient to monitor right in the bot: the "My subscription" item shows the end date and the days remaining. It's better to renew access in advance — 1–3 days before the end, so there's no break in the connection. After paying for the renewal the subscription link stays the same, only the period changes, so there's no need to re-import the profile into Happ — it's enough to update the subscription in the app.

If you change the plan (for example, to a longer period or one with more devices), the bot will apply the new terms to the same key. In the client after this you should tap subscription update once so that the server list and limits sync with the new plan.

When the subscription has expired and the connection stops establishing, do not delete the profile in Happ. Renew access in the bot, return to the app, update the subscription — the nodes will become active again without reconfiguration.

Support through the bot: how to get help quickly

If something isn't working, contact support through the same bot — usually this is the "Support" menu item or a separate chat listed in the welcome message. That way the operator immediately sees your subscription and doesn't waste time on identification.

For a fast reply, attach the key details right away: the device and OS version, the Happ app version, what exactly isn't working (won't connect, low speed, a specific site won't open), and on which server from the list the problem occurs. A screenshot of the error from Happ speeds up the diagnosis many times over.

Before reaching out, it's worth doing a basic self-check: update the subscription in the app, try another server from the list, switch the transport if it's available, and restart Happ. Some problems are solved at this step, and if not — the collected details will help support answer to the point from the first message.

Security and legitimate access

The subscription link is your access. Do not post it in open chats, do not send it to strangers and do not paste it into third-party services "to check". If you think the link might have leaked, ask the bot or support to reissue the key.

Use only access obtained officially: a trial, paid, or service-issued key via the Telegram bot. This guarantees that the server list and parameters match the working Happ configuration and that subscription updates arrive correctly.

Keep the Happ app updated from a trusted source for your platform. The current version of the client is better compatible with the current protocols of the Xray core and works more stably with the servers the bot provides in your subscription.
