Putting an Access Key into the Happ App

Without a key added, Happ can't reach a single server. The task itself is a matter of a couple of taps — the only trick is knowing which screen to open.

Key vs. Subscription Link

An access key is a bundle of connection parameters that ties the app to your account and its servers. A subscription link serves the same purpose, but it can also refresh the server list on its own, with no manual effort from you.

  • Both are handed out only by the service Telegram bot
  • There's no option to create a key from within the Happ app itself
  • As a rule, one key runs on several devices simultaneously

For the complete walkthrough of obtaining one, head to Happ Telegram bot.

Locating the Add-Key Screen

The first time Happ opens, it asks you to paste a key straight away. When the app is already set up, you can add another key from the home screen.

  • Search for a "+" button or an add-subscription entry in the interface
  • Depending on the build, the screen might say "Add configuration" or "Add subscription"
  • Where it sits stays the same on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iPhone, and Smart TV

Adding the Key, Step by Step

The steps play out the same way regardless of your platform.

  • Copy the key text or link from the bot's Telegram message
  • Open the add screen inside Happ
  • Paste what you copied into the input box
  • Confirm — the app then loads the list of available servers

Making Sure the Key Took

It's worth a quick check of the result before you attempt to connect.

  • At least one item should show up in the server list
  • The exact number of servers depends on your plan
  • Connecting to any server and seeing a "connected" state confirms the key is live

Now and then the first try doesn't stick — most often it comes down to the key text or its expiry.

  • Check that the full key was copied, with nothing cut off and no stray spaces
  • Verify it hasn't lapsed — the current terms are listed on the Happ pricing page
  • If the same error persists, ask the Telegram bot for a new key

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can Happ store more than one key at a time?

It can. The app holds several keys or subscriptions and lets you flip between them whenever you like.

Does the key disappear after an app update?

No. Once a key is added it stays stored, so there's no need to enter it again after an update.

The subscription link didn't open by itself — now what?

Just copy it by hand from the Telegram bot and drop it into the add-key field.

Does one key work on multiple devices?

Usually it does — the very same key or subscription can be added to Happ on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iPhone, and Smart TV.

Connect via the Telegram bot

Copy the key out of the service Telegram bot, paste it into Happ, and you're set to connect straight away.
